Goldfinch Room
This second-floor room overlooks a pretty deck, stone steps to the garden, and a wooded area, including the favorite cedar tree of the fabled kangaroo, Josie. The room’s large King bed with sleigh headboard envelops you in comfort. The room is decorated in deep greens and reds, with an antique chest of drawers, dressing mirror, hand-carved chairs, and our family heirloom - marble top occasional table. The spacious private bath has a tub/shower combination and a sink mounted in an antique dresser & oval bathroom mirror. Guests enjoy a view of large Douglas-Fir and Western Redcedar trees to the north and a green expanse of a variety of plants to the east from the bathroom. The Goldfinch Room has its own wifi network but no TV, and is well-suited for a couple or those traveling solo.
