Guest Rooms
At Kangaroo House, each guest room is named for one of the many wild birds that flock to our backyard wildlife sanctuary & bird feeders. All of our rooms have private bathrooms. We serve delicious, multi-course, organic breakfasts every morning at no additional charge. When packing, you might want to bring a swimsuit to enjoy a relaxing soak in the garden hot tub. Each room has terrycloth robes & beach towels for hot tub use, a hair dryer, and a flashlight.
The house was built in 1907 and has a 7-step stoop. There is one step from the porch to the entryway. The front door is large and wide. The other doors in the house are original and narrow. We have had guests with wheelchairs in our one room on the main floor, the Steller's Jay Suite. It has one step up to the bathroom. We can remove furniture to make it easier to move from the Steller's Jay Suite to the living room and dining room. All the other rooms are up a flight of stairs to the second floor.
